These challenges are related to systemic disparities in access to resources and support. These &#8220;opportunity gaps&#8221; include limited exposure to role models, fewer resources, and persistent stereotypes about who &#8220;belongs&#8221; in STEM fields and have been shown to drive the differences in educational attainment and earnings between children from low-income and higher-income households.1 STEMgirls tackles these barriers head-on by providing hands-on experiences that help participants see themselves as future scientists, engineers, and innovators.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_gallery gallery_ids=&#8221;10434,10435,10436,10437,10438,10439&#8243;
