{"id":2234,"date":"2019-02-22T13:58:55","date_gmt":"2019-02-22T19:58:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ibio.org\/?p=2234"},"modified":"2019-06-17T18:21:12","modified_gmt":"2019-06-17T23:21:12","slug":"stellargirls-nsf-partnership-with-siue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ibio.org\/stellargirls-nsf-partnership-with-siue\/","title":{"rendered":"StellarGirls NSF Partnership with SIUE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Exploring Global Challenges partnership with Southern Illinois University is funded by the National Science Foundation and is building computational thinking into the StellarGirls Program.\u00a0The partnership was featured in the East St. Louis news: <strong>STEM+C After-School Initiative inspires minority girls to solve global challenges<\/strong><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Over the past 7 years we have offered Stellar Girls after-school STEM programming for more than 2,100 girls in high-needs, underserved communities in the Chicagoland area. Stellar Girls combines interesting hands-on activities with speakers working in STEM industries.
